No fewer than 270 runners took part in the Gaspesia Marathon, presented by Promutuel Assurance, last Saturday, October 19, in Percé. Thanks to perfect weather conditions, this eighth edition of the event was a resounding success. Once again, Événements Gaspesia offered the “Pace of Happiness” format, free from time barriers, to encourage the participation of as many people as possible!
A Marathon by the Sea
As in the 2023 edition, Événements Gaspesia featured scenic seaside routes in the southern sector of the town of Percé, between the heart of the village and Sainte-Thérèse-de-Gaspé. The 2024 edition’s participants came primarily from Quebec, but also from the Maritimes, France, and the United States, once again making the event one of the smallest international marathons in the world!
