Now a must in the world of Canadian trail running, the Gaspesia Race Series is proud to held a new edition of the Ultra Trail Gaspesia 100 (UTG100), a unique trail running experience between the shoreline and mountain ranges of the Gaspésie!
A solo experience…
Presented in partnership with the Town of Percé, Percé UNESCO Geopark and the parc national de l’Île-Bonaventure-et-du-Rocher-Percé, the Ultra Trail Gaspesia 100 is a partial autonomous 100 mile endurance race.
The UTG100 also offers ultra running courses of 100, 80 (new) and 50 km in addition to 1-12-25 and 30 km paths that will allow all runners to unique athletic experience in an exceptional mountainous region of Percé and unique island trail on parc national de l’Île-Bonaventure-et-du-Rocher-Percé!
Two 3 three days stage race, the Trans-Percé with 100 km and a 50 km, are also at the event program!
Or a team experience…
Our 160 and 100 kilometers races are also open to teams relay of 2 to 6 people. The teams are free to plan their relays according to the tastes, skills and calibers of the team members, respecting the places where the relays are allowed. Teams may nominate only one runner at a time on the trails. The team class has only three categories; men, women and mixed, regardless of the number of team members!
The starting point of the UTG100 will take place in Percé, the tourist capital of the Gaspésie, near the world renowned Percé Rock. The route will provide mainly single track trails all leading up to the point with the most spectacular view of the area. Participants will discover landscapes featuring Percé Rock, Bonaventure Island, the Emerald River, Anse-à-Beaufils River and obviously, the Gulf of St.-Lawrence.
As a member of the International Trail Runner Association (ITRA) , Ultra Trail Gaspesia 100 award ITRA points to their «ultra» races finishers. The points awarded are as follows:

10 am to 3:30 pm – Registration kit pickup (Island trails, TP50 et TP100 ONLY)
3: pm to 7 pm – Mandatory material verification, registration kit pickup, and drop bag delivery (Mandatory for 100 mi, 100 km, 50 km)
3:30 pm – Meet on the wharf. All aboard for the Parc national de l’Île-Bonaventure-et-du-Rocher-Percé (Island Trails 7&12, TP50 #1 & TP100 #1)
5 pm – Island races start at Parc national de l’Île-Bonaventure-et-du-Rocher-Percé
9 pm – Deadline to deliver your drop bags at registration site
4:30 am – Bus departure from Centre communautaire l’Oasis de Percé to Plage des Pêcheurs (100 mi, TP100 #2)
5 am – 100 miles & TP100 #2 start (Plage des Pêcheurs)
8 am – 100 km start (rue du Quai de Percé )
10 am – Bus departure from Centre communautaire l’Oasis de Percé to Plage des Pêcheurs (50 km)
10:30 am – 50 km start by group (Plage des Pêcheurs)
8 am to 11 am – Registration kit pickup (25 km)
From 11 am – Arrival of first runners (TP100 #2 stage winners and 100 miles leaders)
11:30 am – Bus departure Centre communautaire l’Oasis de Percé to l’Anse-à-Beaufils (25 km & TP50 #2)
12:15 pm – 25 km & TP50 #2 start by group (Vieille Usine de l’Anse-à-Beaufils)
1 pm to 5 pm – Registration kit pickup (35 km)
From 3 pm – Arrival of 25 km winners and TP50 #2 Stage winners
From 5 pm – Arrival of 50 km winners
